Tree removal & sectional dismantling in the Algarve

Removing a tree needs a plan for the tree itself and the property around it. Anchor Point undertakes small-tree felling and sectional dismantling, with technical climbing, rigging and machine-assisted work where the job calls for them.

Choosing an approach for the site

The available space, access and surrounding structures affect how a removal can be approached. A tree in an open area presents different working conditions from a tree close to buildings, planting or a boundary.

Our international working background includes sectional dismantling, technical rigging and machine-assisted felling. We discuss the work required and the conditions on the property before agreeing the scope.

What the work can include

  • Small-tree felling.
  • Controlled dismantling in sections.
  • Climbing and rigging for technical tree work.
  • Machine-assisted felling and clearance on larger jobs.

Planning around the property

Let us know about buildings, walls, paths, overhead obstructions and any limitations on access. For hotels, venues or occupied properties, tell us about guest areas and activities that may affect the working arrangements.

The aim is technically competent work, clear communication and an orderly handover. The quote should make clear what happens to branches, logs and other material, so that everyone understands the finished scope.

What about the stump?

Tree removal and stump grinding are separate parts of a job. Tell us if you also want the stump dealt with, so access and the required finish can be discussed and included in the quote.

What affects a tree-removal quote?

Tree size is only part of the picture. The working space, access for equipment, nearby structures and the amount of material to handle all affect the scope. Tell us whether you want timber retained and whether the stump needs attention.

Send the location, a whole-tree photograph and views of the access route and surroundings. We can then discuss what needs a closer assessment before agreeing the work.

Before you enquire

What is sectional dismantling?

It means removing a tree in sections rather than felling the whole tree in one piece. Climbing and rigging may be used, depending on the tree and the working space.

Do you have your own equipment?

Anchor Point works with its own professional equipment and chipper. The equipment needed for a particular removal depends on its size, access and working conditions.

Is stump grinding included automatically?

Tell us if you want stump grinding as well as tree removal. It needs to be included explicitly when agreeing the scope.
