What does NPTC-qualified mean?

NPTC stands for National Proficiency Tests Council, the former name associated with City & Guilds’ land-based qualifications. Its certificates assess knowledge and practical skills for specific forestry and arboriculture tasks. Zak’s qualifications cover the chainsaw, felling and tree-climbing work listed below.

For property owners, this provides evidence of assessed competence in the tasks the job requires.
